Oelo’s controller has two methods of communicating with the Oelo app on your iPhone or Android device. The controller emits its own WiFi signal that connects to your smart device. This is the default mode for Oelo. The second, and preferred method, would be to connect the Oelo controller to your secure, personal WiFi network. As long as your device is connected to the same network as the Oelo controller, you can control your lighting system.
Yes. Oelo is constantly updating and upgrading the app and the Oelo controller. If your controller is connected to your personal WiFi, we can update it to the newest and most advanced software available.
